  • [#@!~FREE#@!~] Ruby Fields Permanent Hermit (Zip) [MP3+NEW]

Permanent Hermit comes after Ruby’s debut EP Your Dad’s Opinion For Dinner, released in March 2018, that showcased the Cronulla native’s knack for hook-laden grunge pop and heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting.

Her latest single off Permanent Hermit is Climate Ruby explains “It's been a heavy year for myself and the band, hence the release of Dinosaurs, and one of the only things that pulls our heads up is time away whether it's camping together or going for dinner at a pub, or just talking to each other. It's a happier song and I think we all needed a bit of that.

Ruby’s 9-show national tour will see her take to the stages of her biggest headline shows to date, with celebrations kicking off at Brisbane’s Brightside on May 17th and ending with a show at Hobart’s Republic Bar on June 8th.

"Insanely keen to get back on road for a proper tour with heaps of new songs and EP coming very soon!! Been a huge year already with Hottest 100, Like A Version and Laneway shows and can’t wait to crack on. Come watch a few eternally average losers and have a few with us," said Ruby reflecting on her insane 2018.

Ruby Fields is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist. In 2018, she released her debut EP Your Dad's Opinion for Dinner, followed by the popular singles “Dinosaurs”, “I Want” and “P Plates”.

Fields' hometown is Cronulla in southern Sydney. She began songwriting when she was 11[1] and busking when she was 13.[2] Fields spent several years earning how to build guitars and repair music equipment from her friend’s Father.[3][2] She grew up listening to bands such as AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, and Guns N Roses.

Since 2016, Fields has been performing live with supporting band members; Adam Newling on lead guitar, Tas Wilson on bass guitar, and Patrick Rogers on drums.[5]

In 2017, Fields uploaded her debut single "I Want" to the Triple J Unearthed website, which was played on nationwide radio station Triple J on the same day.[6] The track, along with her follow-up single "P Plates", reached the top 200 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2017.[7]

Fields performed at The Plot 2017 and South by Southwest 2018.[8] She also supported Ball Park Music and San Cisco on tour in 2018, and will perform at St Jerome's Laneway Festival in 2019.
